BITTER ARIES...

In fact, the great Sol Invicti conjoins with Venus the goddess to shine in your solar first house, bestowing upon you a magnetism as dangerous as a lethal weapon in the hands of child. Make sure the sparks from your meteoric rise to stardom don't singe your ram-like tresses.

With Sun and Venus squaring the Moon's Nodes as the month begins, you might forget that people have a life other than as an extension of your own desires and thus lose as many friends as you make. Romance is high on the list of priorities, but with Venus and mystic Neptune harmonizing on April Fool's Day, this may involve something more than how quickly you can get your partner's clothes off. Aspire to a modicum of romantic sensitivity, even though it doesn't come naturally. Inspiring or idealistic persons will grace your social scene. Try not to lower the tone they create for you.

Meanwhile, Mars the warrior in Sagittarius rages in your solar ninth house, calling you to adventures and exotic locations. Buy some stick-on mud for the range rover and head for the bush (or at least to some outlying watering hole so you can say that you've been there). In the latter part of April, Mars conjoins with retrograde Chiron bringing frustration to your plans for world domination and a possible spiritual experience with nature. If you happen to meet a talking horse then sit down, sing the theme from Mister Ed and prepare for enlightenment, Aries style. Mercury the messenger lurks in Pisces and your solar twelfth house as the month begins, bringing confusion, misunderstandings and the need to withdraw a little. If you think that yelling at people to get them to do what you want is legitimate social behaviour (and you do), then wait until the end of the first week of April for the messenger to track into Aries and your solar first house. Then at least everyone will understand what you're on about, even if they still don't obey. Mercury's movement into Taurus and your solar second house of finances in the fourth week of the month gives you the opportunity to realize that budgeting involves paying bills and saving money as well as spending it. Make the most of such a rare and delicate moment.

The yearlong wrestling match between Jupiter and Saturn is all but over. Giant Jupiter surges forward in Gemini and your solar third house of communications. You may find yourself talking long and loud on a great variety of subjects about which you know next to nothing. Fortunately, Saturn follows Jupiter and enters Gemini in the third week of April, urging you to shut up and listen, thereby breaking the habits of a lifetime. It's time to hear what others have to say and, if those who hold forth in your presence actually know what they're talking about, then this will be considered a bonus even if it's hard for you to tell. This is the start of a two-year learning cycle. If you don't recognize your need for it, most of your friends definitely will.

FULL MOON: April 8th brings a Full Moon in Libra and your solar seventh house. This creates a strong set of tensions where partners are involved. Home and family issues come to the fore as well so make sure you don't offend your partner or lose one of your children while you're racing off to do something incredibly important. Health matters will also be a focus. Don't hospitalize yourself (or anyone else for that matter) in the process of trying to fulfil an urgent desire. You'll have trouble with authority figures and may be inclined to sulk if thwarted. Oh, well! There's nothing new under the Sun, is there?
