house and many Bulls will find their hopes and wishes, friends
and associations will go through dramatic changes or reversals
of circumstance in the coming years. As warrior Mars also simmers
in Sagittarius squaring Uranus as the year begins, dramatic developments
or unexpected turns of the wheel will have a big say in where
your life is going. Forces you cannot alter but only accept may

upward movement as you seek to enter into improved conditions.
There could be an additional member of the family group, either
older or younger. Others may be leaving a home or experiencing
a separation from loved ones or family members. Either way, a
new cycle of responsibilities will be underway with living conditions.
A responsibility for someone close may be visited upon some and
you may have the care of a family member. Others may begin a new
cycle of independence or more solitary pursuits with regard to
home life. In one way or another, emotional and domestic life
is in for change, important change that will influence your situation
in the long view. Be prepared to review the past and reflect upon
its implications and then step up and put on the twin mantles
of authority and responsibility for what is to come in the future.
Be careful of decision-making in the month of December when Jupiter,
lord of the heavens squares Saturn in Leo from his new berth in
Scorpio. This could be a testing time when it will be better to
wait and evaluate a situation, rather than pressing ahead with
new action or expansion. The advice of others may mislead or confuse

go ahead with regard to development of skills, and thus advance
your situation considerably. Teachers or people of status or importance
may play a part in the development of your work skills. For some,
legal matters or studies could enter the domain of your working
life. For others, overseas travel may play a part in what you're
doing. Whatever the influence, it will be important for you to
expand horizons and take advantage of the knowledge or skills
brought into your sphere by the presence of other people. This
influence continues until the last week of October when Jupiter
moves into Scorpio.
As far as health is concerned, you need to expand your horizons
and become literate with healthcare and its practices. Learn what

may play an important role for some of you while others may need
to be much more conscious of what can be gained by discussing

and so make the changes that truly take you forward. New ideas

As the year begins, faint harmonies from Venus and Jupiter to
mystic Neptune will see some of you come closer to your true goals
if you've made clear choices about what's important and are prepared
to leave the old behind. Don't hang on to the idea of that what
you used to want or think was important. Accept the new!
Mercury moves into retrograde (reverse) motion three times a
year for about three weeks each time. This phase heralds a time
of confusion and misunderstandings that can affect arrangements,
travel, transport, appliances, machinery and communications. The
breakdowns that occur are a function of neglect, inattention,
simple misunderstandings or component failure. They will often
bring to the fore the very contingency we should have planned
for and didn't. When the retrograde phase occurs, watch out for
such possibilities as well as putting off major decision-making
or the signing of crucial documents and agreements. We tend to
miss things while Mercury is in reverse motion and then have to
come back and do them again. A process of review in the retrograde
phase can efficiently show where problems might lie and help us
with damage control or the mending of things. Double check arrangements
at these times! What you think you've said and what others have
understood will often prove to be two different things.
The messenger's first retrograde cycle is in Aries and your solar
twelfth house. It begins on March 20th and ends on April 12th.
This will be an ideal time to retreat a little from the outside
world. If you don't, you may feel under pressure or even under
attack from external forces, especially with words, appliances
or vehicles. Take time with spiritual or creative matters. Feed
the inner Bull. Don't be in a hurry to race ahead or you'll fall
over your own feet! There will be misunderstandings or verbal
jousts that come out of the blue. Patience will win the day. Think
about what people mean rather than what they say.
Mercury's second reverse motion cycle comes in Leo and your solar
fourth house. Thus, there may be confusion or misunderstanding
about matters related to your emotional or domestic life. There
may be a state of flux or change here for a time. Discuss matters
of this nature in a clear and calm manner. Sort out problems with
family members. Someone may have to back down. Don't try to sell
or renovate the domicile during this time. Wait a little. This
cycle begins on July 23rd and ends on August 16th.
Mercury's final reverse motion cycle comes in Sagittarius and
your solar eighth house. It begins on November 14th and ends on
December 4th. You will need to monitor any credit or joint financial
arrangements at this time. There may be unexpected developments
in this area. You may need to think on your feet or make a quick
adjustment. Don't push the limit going into this period. Take
a broad view of things rather than getting caught up in the details.
Avoid any secret or underhand dealings in love or money. You may
end this time by having to discuss something important with partners
or close associates.
Lady Moon Â
Your New Moon comes on May 8th, with a testing aspect from mystic
Neptune. For some, there may be difficulties or confusion with
professional matters. Dealings with authorities, especially women,
may be testing. You may feel disillusioned with where your career
is taking you. Take care to avoid questionable behaviour. Don't
let your efforts be misrepresented by others. Some of you may
set out in a new creative or spiritual direction, one that may
mark a point of dramatic change.
Your Full Moon comes on November 16th while Mars is in reverse
motion in your sign. Watch that frustration doesn't rise to the
surface if you're not getting what you want or not going where
you want to go. You may feel maligned or that others are against
you. This is not a time to try to push ahead. Rather, re-evaluate
the way you going about things. This could be a time when you
see exactly where you are in many different senses. Take it all
in and then make change in your action style.
Eclipses Â
Eclipses of both the Sun and the Moon often indicate the end
of a cycle or a significant change in the direction or pattern
of the affairs governed by the house in which the eclipse falls.
Eclipses of the Sun may affect work, direction and relations with
people in authority. Eclipses of the Moon may affect matters of
home, family and emotions as well as relations with women and
children. Both may affect your health.
A Solar Eclipse comes on April 8th with the New Moon in Aries
and your solar twelfth house. There could be unforeseen problems
or changes. You may be confronted by an unexpected development,
one that changes the picture. Some may go through a crisis of
faith. Others may simply feel blocked or unable to go forward.
Give health your attention. There may be more to minor problems
than it first seems.
April 24th brings a Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon in Scorpio
and your solar seventh house. There may be a change or an end
of cycle with partners or partnership matters. Someone may move
out of your closer circle for a time or even for good. There could
be money issues at the root of any change. It may also be that
an important relationship hits a rocky stretch of the road. Be
honest in your dealings. Watch for betrayal. With Sun and Moon
in square to Chiron, the wounded healer, this may be a testing
time that causes you to question your direction or your relationship
with those in authority.
A Solar Eclipse comes on October 3rd at the New Moon in Libra
and your solar sixth house. Watch health matters. Pay attention
to what's wrong. A health upset may impede your work process.
There may be a change with work routines or co-workers. Something
or someone may pass out of your working environment. There may
be a change with daily routines, one enforced by changed conditions.
October 17th brings a Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon in Aries
and your solar twelfth house. There may be changes or endings
for you with regard to spiritual concerns or matters of belief.
Something may come out of the blue to bring about a change in
your emotional or domestic life. Someone's feelings may erupt
to reveal something that will change what you think or what you
do. Don't push yourself physically at this time. Rest!
Special Events Â
Warrior Mars is in reverse motion in your sign this year, a cycle
that runs from October 1st until December 10th. This could be
a testing time for the Bulls. You may hit a glitch with your plans
or activities. It may even seem that you have to go backward for
a time in order to go forward again. There may be obstacles on
the path. This could bring frustration, so make sure you keep
a cool head. Anger will not serve and may even become explosive
if it stays bottled up for long. There may be difficulties dealing
with others, especially males. There may be issues on which you
