Saturn, measurer of effort, is in Leo for the year while Jupiter, lord of fortune, is in Scorpio till late November. They test each other, in January and November, setting the scene for achievements that come with wisdom and experience, but also bringing delay or obstacles. Be prepared to make decisions about life direction or financial involvement; you'll need time to see what's best. Assess the options. You may receive conflicting advice or balance the weight of differing opinions. Choose wisely. Trust your instincts in the final analysis. You may walk a path others do not agree with. While Jupiter is in Scorpio, you will be drawn to intense or passionate action or people. You will take risks and will need insight to guide you. To deepen your understanding, you may study human behaviour or the occult. Jupiter moves to Sagittarius on Nov 24th 2006, lifting your spirits and bringing fortune into your life.  Love and Money 
As the year begins, Mars is still resolving his retrograde phase, while Venus is still in one - so start slowly. Friendships and a place in the community will be important this year. You will have to decide with whom you align and also see who stands with you. Old friends may come back into your life and you may work closely with them. Prepare for endings or separations with people from the past. Those you've known may go through a dramatic reversal or change that sends them on a different path.
Romantic relations will flourish if you choose to commit or consolidate. If you're single and play the field, solitude will be the result so paddle your own canoe. If you throw in your lot with someone you trust, there's no end to what you can do. It is time for some Rams to give more to those around them, becoming more involved or taking a leadership role. Overseas connections or events may be influential. 'Out of the blue' events may affect daily life. You will be inclined to adopt a new focus with work or health. This may be a change from which there is no going back. Changes in the wider world have a significant effect on how you live or what you are doing. Work or health may be a concern in a different way, bringing new associations. Learn the simple things about diet and daily living that will maintain you and allow you to flourish over time.
Career Matters
Chiron, the wounded healer, is in Aquarius as the year begins, set for a long stay. New practices and contacts mark the way forward. New associations will uplift you or influence the way you live. You may work with a teacher. You may teach or lead. You may work with unusual or eccentric people. Your ideas are likely to inform or influence others about the way they live. Initially, Chiron's influence may bring past connections or goals back into your life, helping to set these changes in motion. You are likely to alter or refine your goals because of people from the past who re-enter the arena of your life.
With Saturn in Leo, creative ventures will serve. Take on the people and projects that allow you to show what you're made of. Bear the responsibility for what you do. As Chiron and Saturn test each other, you will have to balance what you want to do with what needs to be done.
