Saturn simmers in Leo. Jupiter blazes in Sagittarius. The Ram
can rise high in this fiery fellowship with Lion and Centaur.
Saturn, the measurer of effort has been travelling in Leo since
Jul 2005, urging you to shape a destiny for yourself, one based
on creative effort and willingness for a venture or a risk. Keep
surging forward, especially after Apr 19th as Saturn moves direct.
He will remain in Leo until early Sep. Bring these efforts to
fulfillment, especially in Aug as Saturn harmonizes with Pluto,
lord of the underworld. Giant Jupiter moved into Sagittarius in
Nov 2006, pointing the way to new horizons. Study, travel, beliefs
and legal dealings will feature. Interesting, exotic or qualified
people from other lands or other walks of life will be drawn into
the mix as the lord of fortune sets the scene. Grow in knowledge
and experience and you will flourish.
However, such flourishing may not be on a road you expected
to take or it may not come in the manner in which you expected
to receive it. Jupiter, revolutionary Uranus and the Lunar Nodes
play at cosmic dodgem cars this year. Life will take extraordinary
or unexpected twists and turns and the final flourish won't be
put on the year till Dec when Jupiter joins with Pluto. As the
Lunar Nodes move into Aquarius and Leo on Dec 18th, doors will
open to new friends or associations, new ideas and fresh creative
ventures or projects. Last year, you will have laid foundations
then relied on strategy and planning. This year, Lady Luck will
play her part. Whatever comes, the humorous or philosophical stance
will be your salve and your salvation.
 Love and Money  
Venus is in Capricorn as the year begins. This may not be the
most romantic of years for personal relationships, even if it
rings with romantic adventure in other respects. The call of the
responsible and practical aspects of your dealings with people
will be important. Discussion and negotiation will be in the forefront
of activities with others, whether they be social or romantic.
For singles, if you are to find love, it may be with someone
you know through a work connection or with someone who has status
or authority. Such a person may have a conservative demeanour
that belies a warmer inner being. For those in a partnership,
business or career concerns will be prominent. You may decide
to work more closely together or assist one another with business
activities. There may be dealings with the public or social responsibilities
that will feature. Communications will be important. Be clear
about what you require and what others require of you. Talk through
confusion or disagreements. Don't leave grey areas of responsibility.
Last year, Jupiter in Scorpio will have seen you reach for the
Moon or be pushed to the limit as far as finance goes. You will
have had to think, plan and operate strategically to pursue what
you wanted or to fight for your survival. With Jupiter now in
Sagittarius, it's time to make different decisions. You will need
to free yourself from fiscal obligations by opening new avenues
of endeavour or fining your operations down. Look to the horizon

Communications will help to solve financial problems. Find out
what the options are. Look for new possibilities.
Take care in your dealings with love, money and relationships
from Jul 27th to Sep 8th when Venus turns retrograde in Virgo
then back into Leo on Aug 9th. There may be work-related difficulties
with money or relationships. You may have to deal with a tricky
situation in close relations. There may be interruptions to work
circumstances or with personnel. Someone from the past may return
or someone may depart unexpectedly. You may be absorbed in a task
or project. You may be socially reserved or withdrawn. Health
issues may affect work or working relations. Revise methods. Negotiate
a new approach.
Home and Family Â
Expansion and fulfillment are the keynotes with life direction.
Not only do you need to work to profit from what you have already
done but also you need take opportunity as it comes. Thus, home
life will have to fit in with wider concerns. You may travel to
expand your horizons and be away from home. You may move to get
the most from something you have worked on or wish to do. This
move may be temporary or permanent. Home and family life will
be subject to these greater concerns. There will be comings and
goings, changes and communications. Excitement or visitors will
play their part. You won't have a peaceful home life but it will
be interesting or stimulating nonetheless.
Home, family or domestic life will be in focus from Sep 29th
as Mars, your ruler, enters Cancer. It'll be all action on the
home front. Male family members may feature. There may be a distinct
level or temperament or a high level of activity. However, problems,
reversals or delays may beset you from Nov 15th as Mars enters
a retrograde cycle. This will not be an ideal time for renovation
or improvement, unless it's the completion of outstanding work.
If there are males at home, there might be trouble with temperament
or feelings. A family member may depart unexpectedly or in a tide
of emotion. Someone may return home after an absence. You may
be more feisty than usual. Doings in the domicile or with family

Virgo until Dec 17th. The day to day matters of work and health

the effectiveness of what you do but it will also be important
to transform what you're doing in accord with deeper creative
or spiritual imperatives. Lift your aspirations. Be ready to step
out of the familiar and into something new. Approach the daily
business of life prepared to grow or improve. Unexpected opportunity
or dramatic change will come as Uranus and the North Node join
as March comes to an end.
Significant change will come with work, health or daily routine
as Saturn enters Virgo on Sep 2nd. This is a landmark shift. Daily
routines and general healthcare will need attention. You may deal
with changed health conditions. Don't try to minimize the impact
or import of health needs by ignoring them or playing them down.
Be specific, practical and immediate in your effort to put things

The midyear sees Jupiter travel closely in tension with the
Lunar Nodes. There may be sudden or fortuitous changes of direction
or connection. Grasp opportunity but beware of unrealistic dreams.
Late October sees Saturn in Virgo conjoin with the Lunar South
Node. Conditions from the past connected with work or health may
come back into your life. There may be change with the circumstances
of work or health that cannot be avoided.
Career Matters Â
Jupiter, the lord of fortune, is in Sagittarius, urging travel,
study and the search for wide horizons. Some of you will cross
frontiers of the mind, expanding your knowledge. Others will attend
the 'university of life', opening to a wider world. There will

connections with people of status or authority, ones that can
assist with work or career. You may deal with people that have
power, knowledge or position.
Mercury moves into retrograde (reverse) motion three times a
year for about three weeks each time. This phase heralds a time
of confusion and misunderstandings that can affect arrangements,
travel, transport, appliances, machinery and communications. The
breakdowns that occur are a function of neglect, inattention,
simple misunderstandings or component failure. They will often
bring to the fore the very contingency we should have planned
for and didn't. When the retrograde phase occurs, watch out for
such possibilities as well as putting off major decision-making
or the signing of crucial documents and agreements. We tend to
miss things while Mercury is in reverse motion and then have to
come back and do them again. A process of review in the retrograde
phase can efficiently show where problems might lie and help us

14th, the busy messenger conjoining Uranus as he turns round.

Aquarius on Feb 27th then forward again on Mar 8th.
Mercury's second retrograde phase begins in Cancer on Jun 15th,
harmonizing with the Lunar Nodes and Uranus. Unexpected contacts
or solutions may come out of the past or out of the blue. This
may unsettle things or shift your feelings or ideas about something.
There may be changes or unexpected developments connected with
home or family. You may have communication problems with a family
member or related to domestic matters. Someone may leave home
or return unexpectedly. You may need to talk things over with
a family member. If you're working at home or on the home, there
may be interruptions or delays. Mercury moves forward on Jul 10th.
Mercury's last retrograde phase begins in Scorpio on Oct 12th
in hard aspect to Chiron. There may be confusion or discussion
about finance. You may review joint money or holdings. There may
be confusing communication about finance or unexpected news related
to finance. The cost of a project or scheme may cause concern.
There may be difficulty or confusion in financial dealings. Be
careful of fiscal involvement with friends. An unusual or difficult

Your New Moon comes on April 17th, in a period where surprises
or 'out of the blue' events will bring sudden change. Destiny
may close a door and open one as well. You may act on new feelings,
impulses or on a change of heart, starting something new or giving
new momentum to an old endeavour. Put that fiery resilience to
work. Step quickly and lightly on the path of change, even if
it means putting something else aside, for a time or even for
good. There may be dramatic changes of direction or belief for
your contacts, bringing changes of association.
Your Full Moon comes on Sep 26th. Things may come together or
apart with a strong eruption. You will be moved to direct speech
