Business schemes, communication issues and dealings with siblings or neighbours will feature with the Sun in Leo, heading for a conjunction with Saturn. Older people or those in authority loom large. Look to the 'long term' consequences of plans or schemes.

News or events linked with overseas people or situations and also legal or study matters may affect your emotional or domestic life. You will have to make an important choice about where you stand or even where you live. The way ahead will be revealed as a Full Moon comes in Aquarius on Aug 8th. The big picture will play a part with what's possible from here. Study or advancement at work will be a key issue. Where are you going?

The period following brings surprises, unexpected encounters, negotiations or dealings with difficult or unusual individuals. Work or health related issues feature. Keep a cool head. Don't get wound up into overreaction or exaggerated responses. Watch financial outlay. Make the hard decisions. Be insightful about the people or situations you face. You'll be busily engaged with others, mid month, but events at home, in professional life or in dealings with authority may be disruptive or bring unexpected developments. Is there a plan you'll have to shelve or a goal that's out of reach? Keep a weather eye on the big picture as the third week begins. Stay on track until the Sun moves to Virgo on Aug 23rd, bringing a New Moon in your solar fourth house. Family, domestic and emotional circumstances will need renewal or a new start.

Changing Gear

Busy Mercury is on the fly, beginning in Cancer and focusing on finance. Be mindful or small, domestic related expenses. Get the budget right. Discuss. No impulse or comfort spending! Aug 11th sees the messenger enter Leo, bringing discussion and plans for the future. This will be hectic. There'll be dealings with people and situations that may not want what you have to give. You will have to balance practical necessities and the romantic impulse as far as spending is concerned. Venus enters Leo on Aug 13th. This may be a disruptive or changeable period as you find yourself in the midst of the action, yet needing time for emotional or domestic matters as well. Events, communications, legal matters and overseas or foreign contacts may play a part in a busy time. Keep your head. There's opportunity for advancement. Accept limits. Take authority.
