Benefit from the Bigger Picture

Range far afield with thoughts and plans as the Sun moves through Aquarius. There's a bigger picture to see and you'll benefit if you keep it in view. Work opportunities will come with Jupiter in Scorpio till late Nov. Saturn in Leo will keep you focused on 'long term' plans, education and communications skills. It's important to be clear and practical, not just speedy and agile.

Make sure you know what you're getting into as the month begins. Jupiter and Neptune will make it easy to be swayed by unrealistic hopes or expectations. If you benefit financially through work or your endeavours, don't waste the rewards on pipe dreams or 'high risk' schemes. Don't be taken in by promises. Wait to see if there's substance to what's on offer.

A Full Moon in Leo on Feb 13th will reveal situations and people for what they are. Mid month may bring delays with communications and plans or arrangements for travel. Study or legal matters could be subject to the same concerns. Consider the 'long term' implications of your options before you make a decision. A new professional or career possibility may appear. An authority figure may present an unusual proposal.

The Sun's move to Pisces on Feb 18th focuses on career and professional dealings. You're getting the go ahead on one level but you may have to wait at another level as this area may become cloudy or uncertain as the end of the month comes. Do the plans of those above you have substance? Can you trust the motives of others? Even though you're itching to go, put a 'wait and see' notice on your door. Beware of clashes over authority. The New Moon in Pisces on Feb 28th may see startling or unexpected changes with career or in professional dealings. A new figure or possibility may emerge.

Keeping Up

Mercury begins in Aquarius, urging you to keep in touch with the big picture. Study, travel and legal matters may feature, as well as dealings with those of academic standing or foreign birth. Be wary with decisions at the start. Judgement may be poor or possibilities obscured. Mercury moves to Pisces on Feb 9th, shifting the focus to career or professional matters as well as dealings with authority. There may be ups and downs or surprises with professional life. Communications will feature so get your act together. Tension builds as the month ends. The messenger is set to turn retrograde, tested by Pluto. Wait on events and examine partnership deals or arrangements. The unexpected will crop up.

Deep Matters

Venus the goddess moves forward on Feb 3rd but spends the month in Capricorn. Matters of love and money will feature, especially with joint finances or credit arrangements. Solve problems. Rectify what's gone awry recently. There may be new connections or ventures. Old contacts may be renewed. Work will provide opportunity or promotion early on.

New Vigour

Mars has been holding back in Taurus and your solar twelfth house since the beginning of October last year, causing delays or unexpected obstacles or opposition. This will begin to clear now, especially after Feb 17th when the warrior planet moves to your sign. You'll be filled with a charge of energy, though you'll have to be careful with accidents or struggles over authority late in the third week. Don't be hasty or brusque with others. You'll want to get out there and make it happen. You'll be fired up with erotic energy as well. Woo hoo!
