Clear the Decks

Get ready to be active and busy, but you'll have a few twists and turns to navigate as the month unfolds. Work or health issues could loom large at the start. You may have to clear the decks or make a crucial choice. Authority, professional matters and the balance of work and home are at issue. Family considerations will have to be seen in the context of wider demands, or vice-versa. A grand trine in the water signs will see a change affecting work or health, professional direction or responsibilities and the money side of things.

Much discussion and activity will bring this to a head at the Full Moon in Scorpio on May 13th. With Saturn moving forward in Leo, changes are coming in structure, obligations or dealings with partners or close associates. Jupiter in Scorpio rings the changes in career or dealings with authority but that process is in review while Jupiter is retrograde. Get the picture at the Full Moon but be discerning about how and when to act. You may not grasp the feelings or intent of someone close. Redirect your efforts by getting rid of distractions and dealing with what's at the core of things.

Crucial choices will be made this month, especially at the start and after the Full Moon. Home or emotional life may be affected by interactions with friends or by your goals. Romance, recreational activity, creative projects and children are in the frame as the Sun enters Gemini on May 21st. Get up and running with a new style of life. Set new patterns at the New Moon in Gemini on May 27th. Take a tangential approach. Be prepared for surprises. Take care with spending.

Inward then Outward

Mercury skates through the last of Aries and into Taurus on May 5th. The focus shifts to home, family and emotional life. There may be talk or work needed on the domestic scene or in your personal life. Talk things through. Understand what's going on and what others feel, especially at the Full Moon. Then direct your efforts accordingly. Watch the run up to the Full Moon for tension or impatience. Watch the period after that for poor judgement or confusion. Take care with domestic accidents or misunderstanding. Make the crucial choice around May 18th. Mercury moves to Gemini on May 19th. It's lifestyle, recreation, children, creative projects and romance from there. Discuss, act and express.

Out and About

With Venus in Aries from May 3rd, you'll be out and about, meeting the people. You may make new contacts or become involved with new schemes or ideas. You may play the agony aunt for someone who's angry or upset. You may attend social occasions to get business done or activities underway. Watch clashes with love or money around May 23rd. Work demands may pressure social dealings. You may have a testing interaction in the course of daily business. Venus enters Taurus on May 29th, shifting social activity into the home. Guests, beautification and relations with family or loved ones will feature.

Getting It Done

Mars is in Cancer, bringing activity in your house of work and health. Whatever it is that's on the agenda, get it done. Work will require physical energy and action.
